Mechanical & Safety Training for the Industry
Harold Brothers Training Institute, LLC is a privately held Mechanical and Safety Training Center in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Initially started as a private training center for the employees of Harold Brothers Mechanical Contractors, Inc. a customer orientated full service mechanical contractor open shop, Pat and John Harold have opened their training center to the local licensed plumbers and apprentices in the south shore area. “As a mechanical contractor, a well-trained labor force is an essential element to the success of a mechanical operation. We are strongly committed to providing our employees with the right tools and training to do their jobs efficiently both in the office and in the field. This translates into cost effective solutions for our customers.”
Currently we offer Mandatory Continuing Education for Plumbers, Massachusetts Apprentice Plumbing Tier Programs for Licensure, and OSHA 10 and 30 hour construction safety courses to the public.
Meet Your Instructors
Matthew Lewis
Instructor
After graduating from Brockton High School in 1988, Matt completed his Associate’s Degree at the New England Institute of Technology specializing in Plumbing and Heating Theory. Matt worked with several companies over the next few years before deciding to expand his influence by accepting a teaching position, in the Plumbing Program, at Madison Park High School in 2016. After spending 3 years as Lead Educator for the department and with great success, Matt had the honor and privilege to return to the Harold Brothers Training Institute to continue his work training apprentices. HBTI offers complete training of Plumbing Tiers 1-5. Matt’s main goal for all of his students is to become skilled, informed and successful licensed plumbers.
Thomas Pavidis
Instructor
Tom, holds and Masters license and a Journeyman license in the mechanical contracting field in Massachusetts. He also holds several instructor certificates. Tom has been in the mechanical construction field for 30+ years and currently is the top Project Manager at Harold Brothers Mechanical Contractors, Inc. Tom has been teaching Tier 1 and Tier 4 of the Tier apprentice classes and MCE Mandatory Continuing Education for licensed plumbers at HBTI for several years.
